After researching a new exhibition Rising Up: 100 Years of Student Activism at UMD, our librarians uncovered many examples of student activism spanning the earliest years of the university, at the time know as the Maryland Agriculture College, through today. Use this list below to begin your own exploration of this topic.

- Mainly focused on the Vietnam Era protests, this collection includes lots of photographs and organizing outreach material
- Office of the President, University of Maryland records and Office of the Chancellor records
- A great place to look at the administration’s reaction to student organizational efforts
- LGBT Equity Center records
- The archives also hold records of many of the offices on campus that support marginalized communities
